Pet Friendly Resorts

The Broadmoor:  Spencer and Julie Penrose shared the love of animals, as evidenced by the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo that they gave Colorado Springs. The Broadmoor carries on this tradition by welcoming your pet and providing special Broadmoor pet bedding, identification tags, meals, and food and water bowls for use when staying, as well as a complimentary pet treat. They have many designated walking areas on resort as well as local maps to pet parks and scenic walking areas. On an a la carte basis, they have a Pitty Pat Pet Menu available 24 hours a day for both dogs and cats. They also offer pet sitting, walking and grooming services. There is a $35 per fee daily. 2 pet maximum per room.

Gasparilla Inn and ClubPets are more than just part of the family at The Gasparilla Inn and on the island of Boca Grande. Pet accessories are abundant in the boutique shops downtown, dogs take the passenger seat of golf carts, stroll along the seven mile nature/bike path, and The Inn even has its own fenced gulf-front “island dog park” just two blocks away from the hotel. Island residents and their prized pooches gather with Inn cottage guests and guest dogs at the island park to socialize and play on the large open field or on the beach! Small dogs gather at 3:00 pm daily and large dogs at4:00 p.m. daily. Dogs are welcome in Inn cottages and villas. No weight limits apply. A $25 per day  pet fee to apply.
