Greece Transportation

Greece is not so far away anymore and getting there is simple, with a handful of well-renowned airlines providing flight schedules to the country and others offering flights to and from various Greek Islands. British Airlines, Aegean Airlines, and Turkish Airlines all provide service into Greece. Each airline provides flight schedules into various Greek cities which makes planning an itinerary much simpler and more efficient. Once in Greece, travelers can use ferry rides as a way to get around the islands and enjoy breathtaking coastlines views along the way. See tabs below for more transportation information.

Trip Cancellation and Medical Evacuation Insurance

Trip Cancellation insurance with medical and even medical evacuation insurance is strongly advised (prudent for any international destination).

International Cell Phone Coverage

An international call plan for clients’ cell phones is advised, with a possible “in country” issued SIM card. I purchased a Vodafone SIM card on arrival for my iPhone for calls within Greece and an AT&T Passport plan to cover calls to the U.S. Clients should always provide their international phone number(s) to the travel advisor, and/or tour operator and hotels where they are staying in case of unexpected emergencies. Another option is buying a cheap phone card (Sam’s Club, Target, etc.) with ample minutes for international calls – especially for possibly waiting hours on hold with airlines to reconfirm or change flights.

Greece Excursions

Those who choose to experience Greece by boat are not confined to the water alone. There are numerous excursions offered which provide travelers with a chance to experience the best of both land and sea. VIP day trips can be enjoyed with luxury transportation provided from port to hotel. Once at the hotel, travelers can immerse themselves in spa packages, dining experiences, and other exclusive hotel amenities.
